OK, so I cannot say "planning is already underway" because I ain't that damn anal. However, that does NOT mean I'm not thinking about the future.

Actually, the Legion Hall had a major renovation during 2011, so party goers who made the trek in 2010 won't recognize the place. Hopefully they have retained their rock-bottom rental rates.

Friday The 13th

The night before the party, for all of those who will already be in town, I am proposing the following schedule of events!

5PM to 6PM: Happy Hour at the Winzer Stube in Hudson.

6:15PM to 7:45: Dinner at Paddy Ryan's, also in Hudson.

8PM to Whenever: My place back in River Falls for some chit-chat and maybe some homebrew.

Anyone who needs my address and/or direction just shoot me an email.

Other Entertainment In The Area

For those who have extra time before or after the party, and would like something else to do here are some options:

Golf: For the "good walk ruined" crowd Kilkarney Hills is just outside of town. Prices range from $20-$48 dollars.

Up in Hudson, Wisconsin (10 minutes north of River Falls) they are hosting replicas of the Niña and Pinta. (For some reason they haven't built my favorite.)

Also, and this must be your lucky day, the Pierce County Fair will be running from the 12th to the 15th. This will be in Ellsworth, Wisconsin (10 minutes south of River Falls.) Ellsworth is the cheese curd capital of the world. You have been warned.
